Hey there, I’m Randy. I’m the new owner of Gonzo’s Automotive Service Centre. I’ve been in this industry for 18 years and haven’t looked back. I started doing emissions testing in 2007 and soon moved to repairing vehicles. I’ve had my share of knowledge from small independent shops to dealerships like Nissan to Lexus/Toyota to Jaguar Land Rover. I’ve had a fascination for cars and going fast for as long as I could remember.
In 2013, I started racing karts and soon evolved into driving Mosport, (now called Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the fastest track in North America!) in 2018 to get my racing license. Fun fact: I purposely made Mosport the very first track I drove on as a way to humble myself. It’s a very intimidating track but I wanted that to be my first track…no if's, and's, or but's.
In the future, I plan to finish my Toyota Supra and drive that around Mosport, as well, finish my vintage motorcycle. I took over Gonzo’s after talking to him one day and I admired how he ran a shop as it would be how I wanted to run a garage. I look forward to being the last garage you ever have to go to.
